Ascona Clarinet Orchestra Workshop 2025

We were pleased to welcome adult clarinet players to the 2025 edition of the Ascona Clarinet Orchestra Workshop, which took place from Thursday, October 2 to Sunday, October 5, 2025, in the beautiful lakeside town of Ascona, in Switzerland’s sunny southern canton of Ticino.

Participants once again enjoyed a rich and varied musical programme, including:
– orchestral and chamber music repertoire
– music inspired by traditions from around the world
– and the full, vibrant energy of a clarinet big band!

The final rehearsals and concert were supported by a professional percussionist, and all sheet music had been provided in advance, allowing participants plenty of time to prepare.

It was a pleasure to share four inspiring days of music-making, exchange, and fun in Ascona!
