CheRoba’s upcoming debut album L’occhio della betulla has the most inspiring cover art picture provided by courtesy of Markus Heuer. The image of the Finnish birch wood projects things beyond natural perception. Thank you so much Markus for your inspiring image.
Larry DeVivo – you did a fantastic job! Thank you for the mastering of our CheRoba tunes!
I’m constantly amazed by the enthusiasm of this marvelous group!

“Il clarinettista e compositore Marco Santilli riporta in Ticino La Stüa, progetto che aveva preparato con un gruppo di nove musicisti per l’ultima edizione del festival Alpentöne di Altdorf lo scorso mese d’agosto. L’appuntamento è al Teatro Sociale di Bellinzona il prossimo giovedì 03 marzo alle 20.45: di questo ed altro parleremo nel programma di oggi…”
We are going to perform “La Stüa” at the Teatro Sociale di Bellinzona: Thursday, March 3rd at 20:45. This project has first been presented at the Alpentöne (Alpine Sounds) festival and it echoes some moments of my childhood. Meet the Swiss-Italian jazz quartet “CheRoba” playing together with the classical wind quintet “Il Fiato delle Alpi”.
A Swiss television team paid a visit to make a short reportage about our project.
Exciting days ahead! CheRoba e Il Fiato delle Alpi are going to record “La Stüa” at the Musikinsel Rheinau: 07.-10.02.2016. The unique rehearsal center for musicians on the Rhine island.
Thank you so much Lara Persia for your marvelous work. Your art of recording completely captured the magic of the moment I want to feel while listening to the music! Here at Studio Lemura in Montagnola!
