Marco Santilli & Ivan Tibolla

One duo, two voices, one shared musical language

Although they come from two different countries – Switzerland and Italy – clarinetist-composer Marco Santilli and pianist-organist-composer Ivan Tibolla speak a common language: one shaped by shared classical roots and a deep passion for improvisation.

Their musical collaboration unfolds in a space of tension and resonance between jazz, classical, folk, and minimal music. Rather than choosing a genre, they create a personal style – one where the composed and the improvised flow seamlessly together.

Whether performing as Orgelwind – with organ and clarinet/bass clarinet – or as CheRoba in due – featuring piano, accordion, and clarinet/bass clarinet – the duo presents original compositions that evolve like stories: improvisation becomes a natural extension of the theme, always rooted in the mood and atmosphere of the music.

A meeting of minds and sounds, where borders blur and musical identities converge.
