Giving a master class about improvisation to the members of the Orchestra of Military History Museum in Astana, Kazakhstan. It was a great pleasure to work with such talented young musicians!

Rehearsing with the Karaganda Big Band for our gig at the XIX International Festival “Musical Saryarka”, Kazakhstan.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Kazakhstan, Fulvio Maras and myself have this privilege to perform those beautiful traditional Kazakh folk songs as well as tunes of the CheRoba repertoire together with Yernar Myntayev, wonderful Kazakh cellist, honoured worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan and founder of the State String Quartet.

The nonet gathered together for a new group photo… yikes, where is the ninth element of the ensemble?
